Help Specing My New Computer
I've been trying to spec out my new computer. The constraints are that it should cost around £500 and be able to play Team Fortress 2 (estimated recommended settings of 2.4 GHz, 1gig RAM).

Spotted your post while from "recent posts" a few mins ago - before biting the bullet and buying/building it is worth checking out the "bargain zone" at PC World, where they stick the machines they have been unable to shift - if you know what you are looking for there are actually bargains to be had there. I recently saw a couple of HP/Compaq E6400/2GB/Good Graphics Card machines for around £500 - you would struggle to assemble a machine of comparable spec for the money. Anywho, just my 2 cents worth - happy hunting for a new PC!
